For Hari Haran Krishna and Bhavya Akshitha's wedding, we moved beyond the usual PDF invitation or a set of images shared over WhatsApp and built a custom mobile-first invitation website to bring the entire celebration together in one shareable link.
Indian weddings are rarely just one day. Hari and Bhavya's celebration spanned four days, with multiple ceremonies, different timings, different moods and a lot of information guests needed to keep track of. A traditional PDF invitation or a set of images shared over WhatsApp becomes difficult to manage at that scale โ guests lose track of which image covers which ceremony, and there's no single place to revisit the details. Our goal was to create one invitation link guests could open on their phones and use to explore the whole celebration from start to finish, without the experience feeling crowded or complicated.
The biggest challenge wasn't how much information to add, it was presenting everything without making the invitation feel crowded. So we focused on keeping it simple, keeping it personal, and designing it primarily for mobile. Every section was planned around how someone naturally holds and scrolls on their phone: important information needed to stand out, and guests shouldn't have to think about where to tap next. Rather than filling every available area with detail, we deliberately let sections breathe, so opening the site feels closer to exploring a beautifully designed invitation than browsing a standard webpage. Balancing tradition, emotion and usability was the core of the design work throughout.
The result is a digital invitation that felt less like a website and more like part of the celebration itself.
We build mobile-first wedding invitation websites that bring every ceremony into one shareable link.
